Dis-assembly (cont)


There are three connectors to unplug from the back of the PCB, then you can raise the board up and observe the connector on the front of the board

Carefully remove the clear
plastic insulation just below
the black ring you just
removed. Find all the
Printed Circuit Board
retaining screws and
remove them.

With the large part removed
you can just lift the round
ring off and also lift up the
larger plastic ring. What
is then left is the small
black plastic ring and
buttons. Remove the
screws and lift off the
final part.

With the Roomba upside
down, remove the 10
screws that hold the
front bumper retainer
plate and lift it off and
away. Then lift the front
bumper away from the
robot. Be careful not
to damage the ribbon
cable that plugs into
the Circuit Board.

With the Roomba sitting
flat,remove all the screws
on the top panel except
the two screws holding
the Roomba handle.
Begin lifting top away
from the bottom base
of the robot. Lift evenly
on all sides to free the
top off of the base.

Dis-assembly (cont)



Flip your Roomba over and remove the side brush,
loosen the 4 phillps head screws on the bottom
retainer plate and lift it out of the way. Remove
the screws holding each drive wheel and lift out
the assembly. Remove the screws holding the
brush deck and lift it out. Remove the screws
holding the side brush and remve the assembly.

Once the dust bin has been removed you can lift
out the decoration ring by lifting up on the ring.

Dis-assembly of your 535


Start the dis-assembly of your model 535 by removing
the dust bin from the rear of the robot. The dust bin
can be disengaged from the body of the robot by
pressing the round button on the rear of the dust bin
downward and pull the bin away from the body of the
robot.
